A Vision of the Goddesss
An experience:
I was 22 or so living in a big old shared house by the Elbow River in Calgary, with 6 friends. We lived inexpesively in tribes back then. I had just painted my bedroom dark emerald green and bright golden yellow (Packer colors). I had dozed off and awoke to see a figure standing to the right, at the foot of my bed. The room was illuminated by a soft gray light with no discernable source. The figure was a tall woman in a gold trimmed toga in a gold helmet with an owl on her right shoulder, lance and shield, it was Athena. The owl's eyes glowed a bright orange, her face was hidden by the helmet. I tried to move, I was paralyzed. But I knew enough about meditation that I calmed and regulated my breathing to the point where I was no longer paralysed. Then I tapped my leg with my fingers. I knew I was now awake and she was still there. I spoke aloud and asked, "What can I do for you?" With that, she disappeared and the room went dark. Was I halucinating? Was it a dream and I had sleep paralysis? No and No. I was awake and she was there. I had an experience of the Goddess. No one will every convince me otherwise. And I said the right thing. Of course you ask the Goddess what you can do for her...
A Vision in a Meditation of Earth Changes
A vision from a meditation:
During regular meditations, I had been visiting an astral lake, which kept its form during repeated visits in meditations. Gradually I explored this “dream” place. During one meditation, I took a path to a Grecian style patio of stone where I greeted an ancient looking robed and bearded man. He indicated towards a large stone globe supported in a hemisphere frame of stone. As I observed the globe, it was rotating on a slightly tilted axis, as our Earth does now. Then it went through a dramatic wobble, as a spinning gyroscope that has been bumped out of balance, where the poles for a moment were almost horizontal. Then, as a gyroscope would, it returned to a stable rotation, but with the poles aligned vertically. The Earth was spinning on its axis perpendicular to its orbital plane, or not tilted. The man communicated to me “In your lifetime”. I was 44, at the time.
Yet, let’s conjecture. Perhaps this vision is about the future of our planet. The geophysical impact of a magnetic pole shift? Certainly fills the “stars falling from the sky” (or however that biblical thing goes). What I wonder is what
the impact of something like this would be? Certainly there would be dramatic weather and water movement. But how much would we actually feel it? We don’t usually feel the Earth spinning around at its usual 500 miles per hour. I wouldn’t want to be in a tall building on a coast, but would a cow on the high plateau fall over? Providing we don’t loose much of our atmosphere, life should go on. Personally I’m ever hopeful for some life saving quantum leap in human evolution, or the Rasta’s Black Star Liners come from the sky to take us home, or “The Keys of Enoch” protective domes appearing.
The Desire Nature
There seems an inherent challenge between the traditional Buddhist teachings that encourage being free of desire and the teachings of modern Thelema and Abraham-Hicks that encourage the use of the desire as the method for creating one's life. As with all polarities the dichotomy exists on a plane of awareness but can be triangulated into a unity on a higher plane. Our desire nature is a part of being human. The influence of Mars is a part of our humanity. As we come to know and love ourselves, we grow. We are not to castrate our desire nature away to find enlightenment. We must know, accept, and love all that we are in our full humanity. What we can do is become more aware of our desire nature and track it from nearer and nearer its source. We will see that the passions, which drive us spring from the same divine source as all life energy. When we shed the perspective of the personal ego, the id, and ego mind, we may raise our vibration to have our self identity grounded in the Heart Chakra. But here too there is Desire. We move from our own ego driven will into the experience of Divine Will. The Divine Will contains our personal life purpose; our true dharma. I have not had the chance to chat with the Dali Lama, but I am sure he would say that he has strong desires for world peace, and for compassion to become the driving force of world governments. As Aleister Crowley said "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law. Love is the law, love under will." This does not mean Love is less than Will, it means that Love is the foundation of all True Will. The statement only works when one is grounded in the heart, or in other words, when one has attained the level of awareness described as Adeptus Minor. The desire for a better life for the self and for all is not intrisiccally the origin of sorrow. It is our motivation to live a rich and meaningful life. It is a perspective and attitude of egoic seperateness and selfishness that causes sorrow. Consciousness based in the reptilian brain is what creates a life of anxiety and fear.
What Astrology Says to Wear for Halloween
Aries
You are impulsive and aggressive. Your ever changing desires are paramount. You make a typical axe murderer. The weapon feature of your costume will help when you get into a fight.
Taurus
You are resentful of change. You are sensual, but prefer a fancy meal to sex. Happy in luxury, you think ethics and spirituality are a waste of time. You make a typical troll or royal.
Gemini
You are flighty and shallow. Others see this and that makes it hard to have any influence on them. You make a fine ghost.
Cancer
Moody and morose, you enjoy finding like minded folks with whom to complain together. Just be your goth-emo self because it is hard to dress up as a suicide.
Leo
You are bossy and demanding of praise and adulation. You back that up by being vacant and hot. Just wear your dom outfit and find a couple slaves to crawl after you.
Virgo
You are passive aggressive to the extreme. If you are not crawling behind a Leo, wear a big furry teddy bear costume. Then you can be a happy wall-flower and wait patiently for someone/anyone to dry-hump you.
Libra
Annoyingly positive and social, your desire to please others makes it impossible to be sincere. You make a good pirate, just because they are popular now, and it gives you an excuse to rip people off.
Scorpio
You are manipulative and self-centred, and generally feed off others. Be honest and dress as a vampire.
Sagittarius
You are impatient, ill-mannered, and cannot focus. You see yourself as adventurous, but you are too fearful to take real risks. You make a good current movie character, such as Wonder Woman or Batman, so you may pretend to be someone interesting.
Capricorn
You are ambitious and mean to people. Dress up military or as a politician.
Aquarius
You think you are smart, but that is true only in your own odd reality. Dress up as a demon and maybe one of the ones presently influencing your life will come through and empower you.
Pisces
You are adrift upon the collective consciousness and easily controlled. A zombie, mindlessly following the crowd, would work, or dress up old-fashioned, so you are less likely to be a slut.
